Sad blog post
I apologize that my only blog post so far on Hookey is bad news! We just found out my husband has Lou Gherig's Disease (ALS). He is 48. I am in shock as the realization of what is in store for us dawns on me. I believe crochet and the crochet community will be a tremendous help to me as I go on this strange and awesome journey with my husband.

Oh Deanna, I am so sorry. You were right to post this here, you do have community to support you and yours in this time of confusion, sadness, I'm sure anger and lots of "not fair". Please let us know what you need, even if it's just a few minutes of respite and a little friendship. Much love to you and your family.
