So I made 2 more then, after some more procrastinating, I began adding the border to them. The pattern called for a single crochet..I used a Surface Finishing Stitch instead and I am much happier with it. And it was EASY.
I was certain that the big "S" would be the HARD part. The pattern provided a template to cut out and use..but I didn't. I think it was my way of self-sabotaging the project so I could still be "right" about little things being hard.
Guess what? It was so easy, even I could not sabotage this projects success. I litterally couldn't screw it up! I refused to use the template and simply "free-handed" the S using a surface stitch
...And They Are Perfect!
..but they will have to wait and so will I..till July.

Super cute. I hate the little details too but I know that they are worth - as you've shown.
