I actually released this pattern a few weeks ago but forgot to blog about it on hookey.
It’s been a long time in the pipeline, but it’s finally here – my Crochet Shirttail Top. The skill level is intermediate, however, I do have a beginner crocheter testing it and she is challenged but…Continue

I have only been selling my patterns since April so I don't have experience to know if there really is such a thing as a Summer Slump.
It just started about 5 days ago. It could also be because I stopped blogging everyday on my "The Yarn Yogi Blog".
Anybody else have experience with this? Do I just ride it out? Even placing Search Ads on Etsy generated zero revenue for me last week.
From "The Yarn Yogi Blog":
What's that you say? It's Wednesday, not Tuesday! I know - deal with it...
I absolutely love Foundation Stitches. A Foundation Stitch or Chainless Foundation, is making a foundation or base chain and sc or dc (tc, dtc, etc) at the same time. It makes for a stable yet flexible foundation for a crochet garment or accessory and it saves a…Continue

I followed the pattern, completed it and said, “Whaaaat?” It was just a folded rectangle of crochet! How can this be worn? This is the reply I have been sending to my buyers who have…Continue
Duh! Forgot to add link: Crafting Is My Therapy
Rambling blog post about life, crafting, dance, and ALS.
I have a new blog post on what I am using as inspiration for my new, free crochet wrap bracelet pattern:
This is a copy of my most recent blog post on The Yarn Yogi Blog:
I am pleasantly surprised at my success at selling my crochet patterns on the internet. I listed my first pattern, Crochet X-Stitch Shrug on…Continue
I apologize that my only blog post so far on Hookey is bad news! We just found out my husband has Lou Gherig's Disease (ALS). He is 48. I am in shock as the realization of what is in store for us dawns on me. I believe crochet and the crochet community will be a tremendous help to me as I go on this strange and awesome journey with my husband.
