As a relatively new crocheter, I'd really like to see some stuff geared towards those with much enthusiasm but little skill! Who knows, maybe it might draw in more newbies? Ooh! Ooh! It could be called "Virgin Hookers" (Good grief, what a thought...) :)

It would be cool if we did something like, everyone made a piece of freeform, or granny square, find someone to help stitch them together, and donate to a hooker-friendly cause? Or auction off and donate the money? Auction off and hold for future hooker events? I just would love to see something that we all put together - together. Something that would a bit of ALL of us.
LOL Virgin Hookers! I LOVE THAT! We'll make a little group for that, that's awesome :D
Ok Monica, you start a discussion on that topic, find some suckers...cough...I mean volunteers and go for it :D LOL...

I love the idea of a collaborative project, though for me, it would likely have to be a granny square. I wasn't joking about the massive one I dragged into the CLF Rav group, I'm making a cover for the couch!
Sweet! (I haven't been on Ravelry in weeks, i've been up to my eyeballs working on the crochet liberation front's membership service and this website.)

dang it. OK, let me plan this out better, and think about a post I could start or something. ;)
Snicker...Monica, that's what we get for having those idea things...

Is anyone up for a traveling free-form? My thought is that one person starts for 30 minutes or so and then passes it on to another crocheter nearby. Hopefully by say, the Spring Equinox, there is a large enough chunk o' something to yarnbomb a statue near the last person who has it. All worked in public of course. Photos posted here during and at public viewing sight? Thoughts?
