I find myself wondering what to post when during this "slide" into the Holidays.
In October it's obvious to post Halloween info..but aren't my readers already thinking about Fall accessories and, dare I say it, making Christmas gifts already?
This is my first year posting through "the Holidays" so I am doing a lot of wondering and testing to see what is popular. For instance, I'm currently running a 31 Days of Holiday Gift Ideas where I post a new pattern every day. I started it Oct.01 because I was already starting to think about Christmas gifts and experience tells me that if you haven't started, or don't start soon, you'll be hooking right up to Christmas Eve to complete gift projects. But I don't think my readers are as interested in it yet...maybe I should have waited till November to run it?
Do I run Thanksgiving posts in November or Christmas posts in November?
Do I start running my Doctor Who Collection in November for gift makers or wait till December so it's closer to the much anticipated Doctor Who Christmas Special?
I have questions...If you have answers, please comment here and shine some light on my Holidays.

If you are linking your posts to patterns you sell in an Etsy shop then do Christmas NOW.
If you're just doing holiday themed posts then do them as you will :D But rule of thumb is work at least two months ahead, I never seem to manage that ;D

2 months ahead..got it!
Thank you Laurie!
I'm so glad we have the resource of your experience...geniunely, Thank You
