I love to crochet hats for our local cancer hospital (Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City, UT). Last year I donated over 130 but I'm behind this year. Just got through a major buying spree so I can try and get caught up.
The LDS Church has a Humanitarian Center and they take all kinds of sweaters and baby items so I also like to crochet for them. Baby crochet is one of my favorite things to do and it makes me feel good to know they will be put to good use.
I also crochet little preemie outfits for our local funeral home. It's kind of a hard thing to do if I think about it too much -- but they are SO grateful to have them.

Bev you are a sweet heart. I like to crochet hats and pet blankets to donate. Sometimes some baby booties will find their way to the donation pile but none this year.
Bev, that is inspirational. Good for you!
Sara, which charities do the pet blankets go to?

@Laurie they go to the local SPCA and the Rabbit society.

I'm making preemie hats out of leftover yarn. I've never made them before and they are SOOOO much fun. Cutest little things EVAH!

I recently donated a box full of hats to my local cancer center, Mission of Hope in Santa Maria, CA.
Now I have a dog fashion line out, and a large portion from every sale is donated to Foxy Doxy Dachshund Rescue in North, San Luis Obispo County, CA.
I want to do some type of charity drive for my birthday this year, but am still working on the details. I hope I can pull it off!
