I am looking for a set of ergonomic crochet hooks which have sharp "Susan Bates" style heads instead of the more roundish "Boye" style. Any suggestions?

My all time favourite hooks are Clover Soft Touch. I love the head on them and the handle. Have you ever tried them?

If you cannot find a hook you like, why don't you create a handle for your Susan Bates hooks? There is a tutorial on Carol Ventura's Tapestry Crochet website: www.tapestrycrochet.com. I've done it - it's not hard at all.
I also like the Clover Soft Touch hooks. I regularly buy Susan Bates hooks with the bamboo handles. Where are you based? In the US, JoAnn's, Hobby Lobby and AC Moore carry Susan Bates hooks with the bamboo handles. I only use my hooks that have handles these days as they are more comfortable to crochet with - knife hold.

Thanks, everyone, for your advice! I have tried Clover soft touch and Susam Bates with the bamboo handles. They weren't quite the right fit for the way I hold my hooks. I just got a set of Provo Craft hooks from Overstock.com and I'm going to try them out this week.

I look forward to hear your verdict on those!
