I am (along with my mother) working on a gift idea, in our case for teenage girls. The idea is to make a decorative crochet lining/border (don't know the appropriate word) and fasten it on a bridal (we're all into horses). That is fasten it on the band that goes across the horse's forehead. I plan to make from some shiny or glittery thread or put beads on it. If you don't understand what I mean, please say so, and I'll explain better.
So my question to you guys is if you could tip me about some nice looking border/edges that could look good in this idea :o)
And yea, one thing, I apologize for any misspelling or strange wording that may appear in my writing. English is not my native language :o)

There are a couple of patterns on Ravelry (one paying and a couple free). They're not quite what you seem to be looking for, but it would be a start. You'd need to search under "horse". They're either called horse hat or cap. 2 of the patterns cover the ears.

Thank you Craftwich and Minimomes! I see in those pics where I can set my goal :o)
I hadn't thought about searching under horse on ravelry, I've been looking at all kinds of other things though.

Please post pics when you work on the project!

I sure will post some pics :o)
